Permits have been filed for a four-story apartment building at 3525 Eastchester Road in Williamsbridge, The Bronx. Located between Chester Street and Hicks Street, the interior lot is nine blocks from the Baychester Avenue subway station, serviced by the 5 train. Genc Lakaj of L & R & G Contractors Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 37-foot-tall development will yield 7,553 square feet, with 7,426 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have nine residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 825 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a penthouse and a 34-foot-long rear yard.
Fred Geremia Architects & Planners is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits were filed in December 2018 for the one-story structure currently on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
