Permits have been filed for a 21-story hotel at 223 West 46th Street in Midtown, Manhattan. Located between Broadway and Eighth Avenue, the lot is steps from the 49 Street subway station, serviced by the N, R, and W trains. Also nearby are the B, D, F, and M trains at the 47-50 Streets Rockefeller Center station and the C and E at the 50th Street station. Andrew Roufail under the SCLB 46th Street LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 201-foot-tall development will yield 61,928 square feet, with 48,444 square feet designated for hotel rooms. The building will have 159 units, with average scope of 304 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 20-foot-long rear yard.

Gene Kaufman Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
