Permits have been filed for an eight-story apartment building at 290 Linden Boulevard in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Nostrand Avenue and New York Avenue, the interior lot is two blocks north of the Church Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Akiva Lichtman of Rogers Builders is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 28,371 square feet, with 22,460 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 33 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 680 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, a 40-foot-long rear yard, and ten enclosed parking spaces.
Scibilia Thomas of N.A. Design Studio is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in May of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
