Permits have been filed for a six-story apartment building at 26-31 Third Street in Long Island City, Queens. Located between 26th Avenue and 27th Avenue, the nearest subway station is 30th Avenue, located on 31st Street and serviced by the N and W trains. Abu Moniruzzaman under the R&R 2631 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 19,665 square feet, with 10,996 square feet designated for residential space and 5,021 square feet for community facilities. The building will have 16 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 687 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have covered parking for eight cars at the ground floor.
Barry Bank P.E. Consulting Engineer is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed as of yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
