Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 485 East 28th Street in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Newkirk Avenue and Foster Avenue, the lot is two blocks from the Newkirk Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Eugene Khody of Balanced Living Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 16,413 square feet, with 11,958 square feet designated for residential space and 1,121 square feet for community facilities. The building will have 17 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 703 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Panagiotis Vikatos of Vikatos Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in June of this year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

I don’t want medals like the Olympic Games. I just came to read details about developments, and follow the design. Don’t have a stopwatch, that I need to finish reading within three seconds. So, according to the international system, I would say thank you to show my manners. (Thanks to Michael Young)
