Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 191 Veronica Place in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between Tilden Avenue and Beverley Road, the through lot is four blocks west of the Beverley Road subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Abraham Posner is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 74-foot-tall development will yield 21,757 square feet, with 17,424 square feet designated for residential space, 1,976 square feet for commercial use, and 375 square feet for community facilities. The building will have 26 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 670 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar.
Alberto Roman of AR-Tech Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in June of last year. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
