The project team at J Frankl Associates has released renderings of 1021-1023 38th Street, a new seven-story community building in Kensington, Brooklyn. The recently approved development will contain 3,109 square feet of commercial office space and a 37,2018-square-foot community facility for a total 40,137 square feet.
Renderings depict a checkered gray and white façade, floor to ceiling windows, and a series of setback outdoor terrace levels above the fourth and fifth floors. It is not clear if the developers have secured an anchor tenant for the community facility component.
Construction filings list 1021-1023 38th Street Development LLC, an anonymous entity as the property owner, which purchased the zoning lot in 2019 for approximately $3 million.
