Permits have been filed for an eight-story mixed-use building at 280 Meeker Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Lorimer Street and Withers Street, the lot is four blocks north of the Lorimer Street subway station, serviced by the L train. The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 50,991 square feet, with 42,985 square feet designated for residential space, 5,423 square feet for commercial space, and 379 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 69 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 622 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 36-foot-long rear yard, and 37 enclosed parking spaces.
NY Building Associates Inc is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
