Located between East 161st Street and East 165th Street, the lot is near the Prospect Avenue subway station on Westchester Avenue, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Egris Haxhari is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 36-foot-tall development will yield 8,610 square feet, with 7,348 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 735 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 50-foot-long rear yard.
Fred Geremia Architects & Planners is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
