Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1847 Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located between Sackman Street and Powell Street, the lot is near the Sutter Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Joel Klepner, listed as the owner behind the applications, also filed permits for 1845 Pitkin Avenue in early December 2019.
The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 6,103 square feet, with 5,473 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 684 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
AR-Tech Engineering is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
