Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 2045 Ocean Avenue in Midwood, Brooklyn. Located between Avenue O and Avenue P, the interior lot is near the Kings Highway subway station, serviced by the B and Q trains. Ranco Capital is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 80-foot-tall development will yield 41,421 square feet, with 33,162 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 50 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 663 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 47-foot-long rear yard.
Kutnicki Bernstein Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in December 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
