Permits have been filed for a six-story hotel building at 393 Rockaway Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located between Glenmore Avenue and Pitkin Avenue, the lot is near the Sutter Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. Gunja Parekh under the 802 Bronx LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 66-foot-tall development will yield 11,509 square feet, with 8,452 square feet designated for commercial space. The building will have 30 rooms, with an average unit scope of 281 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 33-foot-long rear yard.
Michael Kang Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in October 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
