Permits have been filed for a three-story community facility building at 73-25 57th Avenue in Maspeth, Queens. Located between 73rd Place and 74th Street, the lot is closest to the Woodhaven Boulevard subway station, serviced by the E, M, and R trains. Anthony Cardinale of New York Insulation, Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 17,933 square feet, with 10,588 square feet designated for community facility space and 7,345 square feet for manufacturing space. The building will house a warehouse and a house of worship within a steel-based structure.
Xiahong Zhao of Ameriland Brook LLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in March 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
