Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 531 Classon Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Putnam Avenue and Fulton Street, the interior lot is two blocks from the Franklin Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Haitao Bian of Y&L Classon Corp is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 41-foot-tall development will yield 9,106 square feet, with 6,983 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 872 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 31-foot-long rear yard.
Hany Rizkalla Architect PLLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
