Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 3095 Webster Avenue in Norwood, The Bronx. Located between East 203rd Street and East 204th Street, the interior lot is a short walk to the 205th Street subway station, serviced by the D train. Non-profit Geel Community Services under the Geel Webster Avenue Housing Development Fund is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 106-foot-tall development will yield 76,387 square feet, with 23,309 square feet designated for residential space and 42,351 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 116 supportive housing residences, and most likely space for services and support programs. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 49-foot-long rear yard.

Richard Vitto of OCV Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  2. Joe’s auto service on Webster Ave. at E. 205th St.has closed and a fence erected in front of the property. Is another apartment building going to be built there?
