Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1707 Dean Street in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Schenectady Avenue and Utica Avenue, the interior lot is a five-minute walk from the Utica Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. Also within walking distance is the Utica Avenue station at Eastern Parkway, serviced by the 2, 3, and 4 trains. Empire State Management LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 50-foot-tall development will yield 9,162 square feet, with 7,548 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 13 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 580 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, penthouse, and a 45-foot-long rear yard.

Diego Aguilera Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in May 2019. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
