Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 679 Marcy Avenue in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Dekalb Avenue and Kosciuszko Street, the interior lot is near the Bedford-Nostrand Avenues subway station, serviced by the G train. Solomon Schwimmer under the Marcy Heights LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 60-foot-tall development will yield 11,715 square feet, with 8,428 square feet designated for residential space and 196 square feet for commercial space. The building will have ten residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 842 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 33-foot-long rear yard, and one enclosed parking space.
Diego Aguilera Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in March of this year for the two-story building on the property. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
