Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 23-33 Astoria Boulevard in Astoria, Queens. Located between 23rd Street and Crescent Street, the interior lot is west of the Astoria Boulevard subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Perry Moradof under the Astocrest Holding LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 24,868 square feet, with 20,334 square feet designated for residential space and 362 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 29 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 701 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 72-foot-long rear yard.
Harriet Nikakis of HCN Design & Consulting Inc. is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in early 2020. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
