This week, development partners Kushner Real Estate Group and National Real Estate Advisors celebrated the opening of the second rental skyscraper at Journal Squared. Located at 615 Summit Avenue in Jersey City, the new 68-story tower stands 754 feet tall and comprises 704 residences.
Journal Squared Tower 2 also introduces roughly 70,000 square feet of amenity spaces to the expanding complex. This includes multiple lounges and co-working spaces, a fitness center with a yoga and group studio spaces, an indoor bouldering wall, and a personal training room. Outdoor amenities include the top-floor Sky Lounge offering banquette seating, a large formal dining area, lounge and co-working spaces, in addition to a rooftop pool deck with fire pits and barbecue stations.
Additional services include a package concierge, an enclosed parking garage, and a fenced-in dog park. Combined with Journal Squared Tower 1, total amenity space hovers around 100,000 square feet.

Designed by HWKN Architects with Handel, available units range from studio and micro-studio apartments up to three-bedroom floor plans. There is also a collection of one-bedroom homes with unique den spaces. The design team also includes Christopher Stevens Interiors, which outfitted the apartments with designer fixtures, modern kitchens with stainless steel appliances, white quartz stone countertops, and high-gloss cabinets.
Kushner Real Estate Group and National Real Estate Advisors have again tapped The Marketing Directors as the exclusive marketing and leasing agent. To date, the building is over 50 percent leased and initial occupancy is underway.
