Permits have been filed for a seven-story commercial building at 5402 Fort Hamilton Parkway in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Fort Hamilton Parkway and 54th Street, the corner lot is four blocks from the 50th Street subway station, serviced by the D train. Joshua Markovics of Royal Builders Development under the FT 5402 LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 87-foot-tall development will yield 53,630 square feet, with 47,631 square feet designated for community facility space and 5,998 square feet for commercial space. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 27 open and 27 enclosed parking spaces.
Oleg Ruditser of Engineering Professional Service is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
