Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 360 Shepherd Street in East New York, Brooklyn. Located between Glenmore Avenue and Liberty Avenue, the interior lot is one block north of the Shepherd Street subway station, serviced by the C train. David Horowitz of Apple Realty Capital is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 35,972 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 53 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 678 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 32-foot-long rear yard, and 21 open parking spaces.

S. Wieder Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in August 2021 for the single-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. this will be a homeless shelter/hotel based upon the 21 parking spots.
developer probably has a contract signed with the city to house homeless people and i’m sure they will over charge the city for those cheap hotel rooms.
