Residential Amenities Revealed for Gotham Point in Hunters Point South, Queens

The Gotham Organization and RiseBoro Community Partnership have revealed amenity spaces at Gotham Point, a dual-tower residential development in Hunters Point South, Queens. Amenities include include a rooftop terrace, sundecks, communal lounges, an indoor-outdoor fitness center, co-working space, a children’s playroom, an urban rooftop farm, and boathouse.

The North and South towers at Gotham Point are the latest components of the Hunters Point South mega-development. Scope of work include the construction of seven residential buildings and roughly 5,000 new apartments, 60 percent of which will be permanently affordable to low-, moderate-, and middle-income families. Additional components include a new school, an expanded waterfront park, bike paths, a playground, and approximately 3,400 linear feet of new roadways, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water mains, and utilities necessary to support the new buildings.

Gotham Point will comprise 1,132 rental apartments, which includes 847 rent-stabilized units. Maximum income limits will range from $25,080 to $137,940 for an individual and from $35,790 to $196,845 for a household of four. Minimum income limits range from $15,806 to $73,166 for an individual and from $23,692 to $126,686 for a household of four. Senior residences will be available to individuals across income levels from $15,806 to $85,920.

The South Tower is expected to debut later this year and the North Tower in 2022.

  1. Very nice. Even though I don’t live there, I slow-bike the waterfront often, taking in the Manhattan skyline and afternoon sun.
    Now, if they could just connect Hunter’s Point South with Greenpoint via a Ped/Bike bridge and save the long detour to the Pulaski Bridge, over Newton Creek, it would be even greater!

  2. Excellent point! Connecting those areas would be a brilliant move (in the past pedestrian bridges have been proposed…zero action). Time will tell
