The affordable housing lottery has launched for Rheingold Bushwick, a seven-story mixed-use building at 10 Montieth Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Designed by ODA Architecture and developed by Rabsky Group, the structure yields 392 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 100 units for residents at 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $33,498 to $77,340.
Amenities include bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, gymnasium, yoga and dance studio, children’s playroom, and party room. Units come equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows, white oak hardwood floors, soft-close frosted glass cabinetry, porcelain backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, and some units feature private terraces and balconies.
At 60 percent of the AMI, there are 32 studios with a monthly rent ranging from $913 to $936 for incomes ranging from $33,498 to $57,300; 54 one-bedrooms with a monthly rent ranging from $980 to $1,005 for incomes ranging from $36,069 to $64,440; and 14 two-bedrooms with a monthly rent ranging from $1,183 to $1,213 for incomes ranging from $43,749 to $77,340.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than February 7, 2022.
