Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 990 Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Located between Sullivan Place and Montgomery Street, the interior lot is near the Prospect Park subway station, serviced by the B, Q and shuttle trains. Ian Bruce Eichner of Continuum Company under the Franklin Avenue Property Owner LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 67-foot-tall development will yield 249,902 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 168 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,487 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 84 enclosed parking spaces.
Hill West Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet for the warehouse on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
