Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building with affordable housing at 11-20 Broadway in Astoria, Queens. Located between 11th and 12th Streets, the lot is closest to the Broadway subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Damien Smith of First Standard Construction is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 100-foot-tall development will yield 104,890 square feet, with 100,607 square feet designated for residential space and 4,282 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 148 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 679 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 50 enclosed parking spaces.

Gerald Caliendo Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in August 2021. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

    To the builder’s it’s for low income. Which it is B.S for you low income is 90.000 an up what about the people who are on SSI,And SSD
