New renderings from Caliendo Architects reveal a five-story mixed-use property at 215-16 Northern Boulevard in Bayside, Queens. From West Egg Development, a real estate investment firm founded by local developer Sam Eshaghoff, the building will comprise a mix of residential units, 4,800 square feet of retail on the building’s lower level, and a sub-grade parking lot.
As the first of its kind in this quiet corner of Bayside, the building’s façade will feature dark gray and tan cladding, oversized windows with black ornamental mullions, and multiple set-back openings for private outdoor terraces.
Additional outdoor space, available to all tenants, will be available on the roof.
The developer has already completed demolition of the single-story commercial property that occupied the corner lot. Construction is expected to go vertical this summer with full completion and delivery scheduled for summer 2024.
