A rendering has been revealed for 215-20 Northern Boulevard, a five-story mixed-use building in Bayside, Queens. Designed by Gerald Caliendo Architects and developed by Sam Eshaghoff’s West Egg Development, the structure will yield 38 units and 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space with 194 feet of frontage. Lions Group is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Northern Boulevard and 215th Place.

From West Egg Development, a real estate investment firm founded by local developer Sam Eshaghoff, the building will comprise a mix of residential units, 4,800 square feet of retail on the building’s lower level, and a sub-grade parking lot.

Queens-based developer Cord Meyer Development has nearly completed the first phase of a new multi-building residential complex in Bayside, Queens. The four-story property is located at 211-35 23rd Avenue and replaces a long-vacant green space across from the Bay Terrace Shopping Center. There were occasions to celebrate, and the Landmarks Preservation Commission designated six individual landmarks and four historic districts. 2016 was considerably busier for the commission. It designated 40 individual landmarks and two historic districts, including 12 new Midtown East landmarks and 26 sites from its backlog.
