Laurel Road is the latest office tenant to join Zero Irving, a 21-story mixed-use tower at 124 East 14th Street near Union Square in Manhattan. The digital financial services company will occupy a 15,240-square-foot suite on the building’s 11th floor.

Zero Irving was completed earlier this year by RAL Development Services in partnership with Junius Real Estate Partners. Designed by Davis Brody Bond, the building comprises 254,000 square feet including a mix of market-rate and affordable office space for tech companies and lower-level retail. Additional components include a three-floor education and training center, a tech incubator, co-working spaces, and a 10,000-square-foot food hall managed by Urbanspace.

The tenants at Zero Irving also have access to a large, landscaped roof deck, a 14,000-square-foot event and conferencing space available to tenants, and a full-service fitness center with lockers, showers, and bike storage.

“We are thrilled to welcome KeyBank’s Laurel Road into Zero Irving’s unique and forward-thinking office concept,” said RAL managing director Josh Wein. “Laurel Road’s digital banking platform aligns perfectly with the building’s technology-driven ecosystem, designed and amenitized for companies looking to stand out to their workforce.”

Laurel Road provides tailored banking and lending solutions to its members including student loan refinancing, mortgages, personal loans, among many other services. Serving as KeyBank’s digital banking platform, Laurel Road has consolidated and refinanced more than $9 billion in federal and private school loans. The company joins B2B payments platform Melio and business data analytics software company Sigma Computing announced last year.

JLL represented Laurel Road in the lease transactions and is also leading all leasing and marketing efforts for Zero Irving’s commercial spaces.
