Demolition is underway at the former White Plains Mall where a 900-unit mixed-use complex will take its place. The development site is located at 200 Hamilton Avenue in Westchester County and comprises roughly 3.75 acres of land. RXR, the developer responsible for the project, is doing business as RX Hamilton Investor.
The new complex will debut as Hamilton Green and include four buildings. The entire property is set atop a weaving pedestrian breezeway, The Via, that connects all components of the development to the surrounding neighborhood and streetscape. To create a community within a community, The Via will feature more than 42,000 square feet of dining options, roughly 55,000 square feet of accessible open space, parking garages.
The residential component will occupy the majority of each tower.
Amenities will include two outdoor courtyards totaling 5,000 square feet. Indoor amenities spread across the property will include multiple fitness centers, on-site daycare services, bike storage, screening rooms, and a community kitchen. Residents will also have access to a dog park, barbecue grills, fire pits, a golf putting green, and over 950 parking spaces.
In 2019, project costs were estimated at $585 million. Construction is expected to break ground next year and will be completed in several phases.

Isn’t the White Plain Mall the only large parking place in all of downtown White Plains?
Who needs parking? Democrats want us to all ride the train now.
Get a life troll
So sad you feel the need to turn something like that into a culture war.
