Permits have been filed to expand a two-story structure into a four-story residential building at 923 Bushwick Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Bleecker Street and Bushwick Avenue, the lot is near the Kosciuszko Street subway station, serviced by the J train. Eran Tourgeman of TR Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 47-foot-tall development will yield 6,404 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 800 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and but no accessory parking.
Chi Wai Chung of L&C Associates is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for an expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Can’t stop the future, but a shame to lose this building.
