Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 307 Sixth Avenue in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Located between Carmine Street and Cornelia Street, the lot is two blocks from the West 4th Street-Washington Square subway station, serviced by the A, B, C, D, E, F, and M trains. William Schneider under the 307-309 Sixth Avenue LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 79-foot-tall development will yield 22,339 square feet, with 19,323 square feet designated for residential space, 2,904 square feet for commercial space, and 111 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 39 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 495 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 28-foot-long rear yard.
Issac and Stern Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
