The affordable housing lottery has launched for 2733 East 12th Street, a seven-story mixed-use building in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Designed by Studio Gallos and developed by Eddie Yair, the structure yields 45 residences, 8,243 square feet of community facility space, and 24 parking spaces. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 14 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $69,086 to $187,330.

Amenities include assigned covered parking, shared laundry, gym, and a rooftop terrace. Units come equipped with dishwashers, air conditioning, intercoms, balconies, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants are responsible for electricity.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are two studios with a monthly rent of $2,015 for incomes ranging from $69,086 to $138,840; six one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,030 for incomes ranging from $69,600 to $156,130; two one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,150 for incomes ranging from $73,715 to $156,130; and four two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,450 for incomes ranging from $84,000 to $187,330.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than December 27, 2022.
