Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 183 20th Street in South Slope, Brooklyn. Located between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue, the lot is four blocks south of the Prospect Avenue subway station, serviced by the R train. John Russo under the 651 4th Avenue LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 104-foot-tall development will yield 33,377 square feet, with 29,591 square feet designated for residential space, 3,082 square feet for commercial space, and 703 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 28 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,056 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar but no accessory parking.

Fischer Makooi Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
