Permits Filed for 308 23rd Street in South Slope, Brooklyn

Permits have been filed for a five-story mixed-use building at 308 23rd Street in South Slope, Brooklyn. Located between 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue, the lot is near the 25th Street subway station, served by the R train. Joshua Dardashtian is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 55-foot-tall development will yield 5,993 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have five residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,198 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

Stephen Conte of StudioSC Architecture is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits were filed in November 2025 for the two-story residential structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. I just want to say how much I love vinyl siding homes. They have their charm.

  2. too bad, looks like a nice little house. that area is still hanging on, defying the shoddily-built shoeboxes that sprout up everywhere.
