Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 1039 42nd Street in Borough Park, Brooklyn. Located between 10th Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway, the lot is two blocks from the Fort Hamilton Parkway subway station, serviced by the D train. Joel Friedman is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 45-foot-tall development will yield 9,586 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have eight residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,198 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 30-foot-long rear yard.
Mark Weinberger Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
