Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 861 Park Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Located between Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Broadway, the lot is steps from the Flushing Avenue subway station, serviced by the J and M trains. Bruchy Lefkowitz is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 90-foot-tall development will yield 45,812 square feet, with 38,813 square feet designated for residential space and 6,999 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 50 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 776 square feet. Approximately nine units will be designated as affordable housing. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, basement, and 15 enclosed parking spaces.
JFA Architects & Engineers is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
