Permits Filed for 258 Eckford Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Permits have been filed to expand a two-story structure into a four-story residential building at 258 Eckford Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Located between Meserole Avenue and Calyer Street, the lot is near the Nassau subway station, serviced by the G train. Andrzej Potrapeluk of Euro Elite Construction Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 47-foot-tall development will yield 4,941 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have seven residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 705 square feet. The wood-based structure will also have a cellar and a 32-foot-long rear yard.

CO.DE Consulting and Design is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the project calls for a vertical expansion. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
