The affordable housing lottery has launched for 673 Hart Street, a five-story residential building in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Designed by Fang Architect and developed by Louis Yeung, the structure yields 29 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are nine units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $95,829 to $198,250.

Amenities include pet-friendly policies, a garage, bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, and a rooftop terrace. Units come with dishwashers, hardwood floors, air conditioning, patios or balconies, name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenants get three months of rent concession upon lease.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are five one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,795 for incomes ranging from $95,829 to $165,230, and four two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $3,495 for incomes ranging from $119,829 to $198,250.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than January 9, 2024.

  2. Either the graphic design of the base was composed by two different people without any architectural training, or, the base of this building is beyond terrible. Heights of windows, parapet…..the way the building meets the street. Someone should care- it’s how the developer presents themselves to the neighborhood and the skill of the designer, or lack thereof
