On February 27, the Landmark Preservation Commission will review a renovation proposal for 28 Prospect Park West, a three-story residential building in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Designed by READ Architecture Design, plans call for renovations to the interior and exterior of the property, particularly around the ground floor.
28 Prospect Park West was constructed in 1899 and contains four units. Proposed work on the building’s exterior includes the repair and replacement of the wrought iron fence and sidewalk and the removal of the curb in front of the property. The details of its interior renovation plans are not disclosed in great detail in the proposal, but likely do not impact the residential units.
28 Prospect Park West is located steps from the 15th Street-Prospect Park station, served by the F and G trains.

The landmark building seeking renovation approval is in Park Slope, but you described the location of 28 Prospect Park SOUTHWEST, which is in Windsor Terrace and is close to the 15th St station, but it is not a landmark and is not the same building as described in the article.
This property is in the heart of the Gold Coast of Park Slope. It’s about one mile north of the 15th Street F/G station. Did a real person look at a map?
This is in Park Slope!
This house is in Park Slope, not Windsor Terrace. The closest subway stop is Grand Army Plaza. You are confusing this address with 28 Prospect Park Southwest.
Did I misread the address? 28 Prospect park west is super close to Grand Army Plaza in north Park Slope. Y’all are completely misnaming the neighborhoods and it’s nowhere near 15th street.
It’s not in Windsor Terrace. It’s in
Park Slope.
So this is a post about re-doing a fence?
Not Windsor Terrace. 28 PPW is Park Slope.
The house is in Park Slope NOT Windsor
Terrace
What happened Jeff?
This is in Park Slope; not Windsor Terrace.
28 Prospect Park West is not in Windsor Terrace it is in Park Slope.. it is also not anywhere near the 15th street stop of the G and F trains. It is about 20 blocks away.
I sometimes wonder who writes these articles. Saying that this Park Slope mansion is close to the F and G trains is on par with calling Cortelyou Road “Cortelyou Avenue.”
Yes. It’s on the corner of Montgomery Place.
