Updated permits have been filed for the seven-story residential building planned at 360 Shepherd Street in East New York, Brooklyn. The project, originally announced with 53 residential units, has now increased its planned unit count to 64.

Located on an interior lot between Glenmore Avenue and Liberty Avenue, the development is located one block north of the Shepherd Street subway station, which serves the C train. It is also a short walk from the Norwood Avenue subway station, which serves the J and Z trains. David Horowitz of Apple Realty Capital is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 75-foot-tall property will yield 35,972 square feet of residential space, with the average unit size now reduced to approximately 562 square feet due to the increase in the number of residences. The units are expected to be rentals. The concrete-based structure will also include a cellar, a 32-foot-long rear yard, and 21 open parking spaces.

S. Wieder Architect is the architect of record for 360 Shepherd Street, and is responsible for the project’s design and adherence to zoning regulations for the site. The property’s anticipated completion date has not been announced at this time.
