Permits have been filed for a seven-story mixed-use building at 25-86 31st Street in Astoria, Queens. Located between Newtown Avenue and Astoria Boulevard, the lot is near the 30th Avenue subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Zhou Xu of Astoria 1 Plaza LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 27,039 square feet, with 16,876 square feet designated for residential space, 9,725 square feet for commercial space, and 437 square feet for community facility space. The building will have 25 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 675 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, basement, and a 22-foot-long rear yard.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
