Permits have been filed for a 16-story medical building with an ambulatory center at 635 West 165th Street in Washington Heights, Manhattan. Located near the intersection of Fort Washington Avenue and West 165th Street, the lot is near the 168th Street subway station, serviced by the A and C trains. New York Presbyterian Hospital is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 297-foot-tall development will yield 2,569,149 square feet designated for community facility space. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, basement, and penthouse.

Studio Gang Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not been filed yet. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. Where are they going to build it? Taking down the Eye Institute?

    • I hope the Eye Institute survives, it is a crucial, world class facility..It is where I had my successful cataract procedure.
