Apparel holding company KnitWell Group has signed a 20-year lease extension for 246,000 square feet at 7 Times Square, a 47-story office skyscraper in Times Square, Manhattan. The lease will expand the company’s existing 191,000-square-foot presence in the building by two additional full floors. Designed by SOM and developed by Boston Properties, the 724-foot-tall structure spans 1.25 million square feet and is located at West 42nd Street between Broadway and Seventh Avenue.
7 Times Square has undergone several recent renovations to its tenant amenity spaces, including the addition of conference facilities, a client lounge, and café services.
The skyscraper is located directly above one of the main entrances to the Times Square-42nd Street subway station, which serves the 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, W, and S trains.
“We are in an industry that thrives on in-person collaboration across functions and brands, which is why we are thrilled to be able to bring all of our New York-based KnitWell Group associates into one building,” said Patrick Walsh, chief operating officer of KnitWell Group. “We thank BXP and the team at 7 Times Square for their continued support and partnership, and for providing us a fantastic space to call home for the next 20 years.”

That space could’ve been better positioned as Homes for the Homeless.
The rest of us live on planet Earth.
More leased office space means more workers in Times Square. More workers means more business to the cafes, restaurants, dry cleaners and shops in the area. This all leads to more job opportunities to eliminate homelessness along with more tax revenue to help those that remain homeless.
Ahh yes a highrise homeless camp right in the heart of times square why didnt they think of that!
why don’t you host one at your own place
Oh for f*cks sake Dwight…really?!?
