Permits have been filed for a 12-story mixed-use building at 89-61 162nd Street in Jamaica, Queens. Located between 89th Avenue and Jamaica Avenue, the lot is near the Parsons Boulevard subway station, served by the F train. Ami Weinstock is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 123-foot-tall development will yield 61,415 square feet, with 60,233 square feet designated for residential space and 1,182 square feet for commercial space. The building will have 89 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 676 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 31-foot-long rear yard.
JFA Architects & Engineers DPC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed earlier this month for the three-story building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
