Permits have been filed for a nine-story residential building at 62 North 1st Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Located between Wythe Avenue and Kent Avenue, the lot is closest to the Bedford Avenue subway station, served by the L train. Bruklyn Builders is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 95-foot-tall development will yield 38,120 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 56 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 680 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar, a 20-foot-long rear yard, and 12 open parking spaces.
NA Design Studio is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed last month for the two-story building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
