Demolition is almost done at 54-03 and 54-11 Queens Boulevard in Woodside, Queens. The rectangular 12,000-square-foot property is bound by Queens Boulevard to the south, 55th Street to the east, and 54th Street to the west. Santiago Helman of Nostrand Land LLC is listed as the owner and filed demolition permits, in part, due to the instability of both structures.
Recent photographs show the large rectangular parcel almost fully cleared of the two low-rise commercial structures that began demolition in the latter half of 2024. A lone excavator is helping to transfer the last large pieces of mangled steel, crushed bricks, and other debris off the site. Along the eastern end of the parcel is a deep pit with sections of the foundation walls still awaiting to be razed. Piles of mixed rubble and other scraps also remain to be cleaned up. The residential buildings that line the northern perimeter of the plot sit at a higher elevation than the construction site.

The eastern half of property was formerly occupied by a one-story structure, as seen in the following Google Street View image from before the start of demolition. The demolition process for 54-03 Queens Boulevard was expected to cost $50,000, while 54-11 Queens Boulevard was estimated to cost around $100,000.

The nearest subway from the site is the 7 train at the elevated 52nd Street station to the north over Roosevelt Avenue.
Demolition should fully wrap up later this spring. Details have yet to be revealed about what will be built at 54-03 and 54-11 Queens Boulevard.
