Located near the intersection of Bonner Place and Morris Avenue, the lot is closest to 161 Street-Yankee Stadium subway station, served by the 4 train. Meer Ahmed is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 56-foot-tall development will yield 29,057 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 25 residences, most likely condos based on the average unit scope of 1,162 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar, 11 open parking spaces, and a 22-foot-long rear yard.
Badaly Architects is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

Why not make this into a much-need community park? Adams, are you listening?
As I obviously write to blind eyes about the The Bronx, this entire area from 161st. St to Mosholu Parkway is the West Bronx neighborhood.
And, except for the very northern end, if you are near the D, you are 3 blocks from the 4. In this case, the 4 is right above the D at 161st, where they cross.
Finally this unsightly garbage strewn lot will be developed. Good news for the good!
