Construction is complete on Phase I of Hudson Piers, a mixed-use development located along the Yonkers’ Downtown Waterfront. Designed by Perkins Eastman Architects and developed by Extell Development Company, the broader campus introduces six new residential buildings with more than 1,100 units ranging from studio to three-bedroom layouts, along with ground-floor retail space. When complete, it will span 20 acres bounded by Alexander Street, Water Grant Street, and Babcock Place. The project is Extell’s first in Westchester and is the final and most expansive addition to Yonkers’ Downtown Waterfront Revitalization initiative.
Units at Hudson Piers feature oversized windows and in-unit washers and dryers, with select units offering private terraces. Amenities include fitness centers, a screening room, waterfront lounge, business center, game and teen rooms, and multiple landscaped outdoor spaces that will be home to a saltwater pool, bocce court, dog park, and fire pits. A key highlight of the project is its public-access riverfront promenade, which constitutes 1.5 miles of contiguous Hudson River frontage. This space provides walking and biking paths, green areas for recreation, and future dining and retail venues. Additional amenities, which are planned for later phases, will include an indoor pool and a basketball court.
Transit nearby Hudson Piers includes the Yonkers Metro-North station, which offers a 30-minute commute to Midtown Manhattan.

Yonkers picking up on the North Jersey waterfront boom… Looks great.
So small compared to what’s going up in JC.
Extell never fails to disappoint with their design approvals.
Really awful-looking buildings (six of them!), and the waterfront access is a paved path.
No one is going to want to go there except residents.
Literally dude. You’re telling me you couldn’t just fill up the space in the middle and a pool up top? This is less hideous than what they’ve recently built by WP train station.
