The affordable housing lottery has launched for 26-18 4th Street, an eight-story residential building in Astoria, Queens. Designed by Gerald Caliendo and developed by Yael Mead Corp., the structure yields 22 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $77,932 to $116,640.
Amenities include pet-friendly policies, covered parking, bike storage, and a rooftop terrace. Units are equipped with washers and dryers, air conditioning, intercoms, energy-efficient appliances, patio or balconies, smart controls for heating and cooling, and name-brand kitchen appliances, countertops, and finishes. Tenant is responsible for electricity, including electric stove, heat, and hot water.
At 80 percent of the AMI, there are five one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,075 for incomes ranging from $77,932 to $116,640.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than July 3, 2025.
