Permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building at 2404 Cortelyou Road in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located between East 25th Street and Bedford Avenue, the lot is near the Beverly Road subway station, served by the 2 and 5 trains. Cheskal Retek of A Plus 1 Management Inc. is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 17,421 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 24 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 725 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 12 enclosed parking spaces.

Amr Ouda of Jay Architect & Engineering is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is now vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

  1. I like the “wide-angle”/panoramic google street view image, it capture the “real neighborhood feel” of b’klyn, and to me🤔, stresses the IMPORTANCE of 🌳TREES🌳🌳🌳🌳, GLORIOUS TREES!!!, as much as possible, need to be incorporated into our urban landscape; MORE TREES IN; sidewalks, new construction, old, terraces, roof tops, etc, Keep NYC GREEN, GREENER, and more livable, and breathable, especially when it gets as gross-disgusting-HOT🥵, like this debilitating heatwave we are currently in, and with humans hellbent on continuing to pump fossil fuels into the atmosphere, 🌳TREES🌳 are crucial to mitigate the misery, AND turn THE CO2 into OXYGEN!, keep it 💚green🌳 ny’ers
